Prayer is God's Work Place
by Blair Cushman on July 14th, 2026
Have you ever wondered why you should pray if God already knows the future? If He is sovereign over all things, what difference do our prayers really make? These are honest questions, and they bring us to a beautiful place where our faith meets God's power. Acts 12 sits right at that intersection.  Read More

When God Uses Disruption for Mission
by Blair Cushman on July 7th, 2026
Life rarely unfolds according to our carefully laid plans. The early believers in Jerusalem discovered this truth in the most dramatic way when persecution scattered them across the ancient world. Yet what appeared to be devastating disruption became the very means through which God expanded His kingdom. Sometimes our greatest setbacks become God's greatest setups for His glory and our growth.  Read More

Unstoppable Church: Building an Impartial Community
by Blair Cushman on June 30th, 2026
We sometimes experience incredible events and want to share them with friends, only to have them focus on minor, irrelevant details. Imagine returning from a Grand Canyon trip, describing the massive night sky, and someone only comments on your ugly jacket. Peter experienced a very similar reception when he returned to Jerusalem. He enthusiastically shared how God saved a Roman household, but the local believers only cared that he shared a meal with uncircumcised outsiders. They missed the massive work the Holy Spirit was doing. God was completely overhauling their traditions to build an impartial church.  Read More

Unstoppable Grace: Breaking Down Barriers
by Blair Cushman on June 23rd, 2026
If you grew up in a neighborhood without fences, you likely remember how kids played together across conjoined yards. It was an open adventure. Today, we often build tall wooden barriers around our homes to keep others out. This drift toward privacy and personal protection easily bleeds into our spiritual lives. We build social and religious barriers to keep people at a safe distance. However, as we see in the story of Peter and Cornelius, the Holy Spirit is entirely focused on tearing down the fences we build around the Gospel.  Read More

Unstoppable Mission: Praying, Listening, and Following
by Blair Cushman on June 16th, 2026
Throughout the book of Acts, one thing becomes incredibly clear. God is entirely bent on getting the good news of Jesus out to the world. He will take it to unlikely places, and He will mobilize the most uncommon people. Most importantly, He does this through the consistent prayers of ordinary people. Whenever we see a significant move of God in this story, we find God's people praying. Today, we look at how God uses our consistent prayers to advance His unstoppable mission.  Read More

Unstoppable Faith: Walking in God's Power
by Blair Cushman on June 9th, 2026
Sometimes we feel stuck in our comfort zones, ministering to the same people in the same places while God has bigger plans for our lives. Peter discovered this truth as he traveled beyond Jerusalem's familiar walls to villages where God was preparing hearts for transformation. When we allow God to expand our faith, He uses us to bring life to places we never imagined reaching.  Read More

Walking In the Way
by Blair Cushman on June 2nd, 2026
The Christian life isn't a destination; it's a journey. Every believer walks along what the early church called "the Way," following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. This path transforms us from enemies of God into His beloved children, from spiritual infants into mature disciples, and from consumers of faith into multipliers of the Gospel. The story of Saul's dramatic conversion on the Damascus road illuminates this transformative journey that every believer must take.  Read More

The Gospel On The Move
by Blair Cushman on May 26th, 2026
There is always something behind the movement of God. Many of us have moved to a new city for jobs, family, military service, school, or relationship reasons. That might be the circumstantial reason for your move. But God always has missional purposes behind His movement. He put you right where you are today for a specific reason. He placed you on your street and in your workplace to bring the joy of the Gospel to those exact people.  Read More

The unstoppable mission of God is embodied by people who have come face to face with their sin, found rescue by Jesus, and are now living faithfully in a broken world.  Read More

The Unstoppable Church
by Blair Cushman on May 12th, 2026
At every significant moment of growth in the early church, we find a sold-out commitment to prayer. When Jesus ascended into heaven, the disciples turned to prayer. When the Holy Spirit descended and the church was born, they devoted themselves to prayer. When opposition dialed up, they gathered to pray. Now, as the church multiplied and complaints grew loud, the apostles turned right back to prayer.  Read More

Unafraid Witnesses: Finding Boldness In God's Sovereignty
by Blair Cushman on May 5th, 2026
In Acts 4, the unstoppable mission of the early church faced its first major test. The religious leaders threatened Peter and John and commanded them to stop speaking about Jesus. Instead of backing down, the apostles demonstrated what it means to be unafraid witnesses. We can learn to walk in this exact same boldness today.  Read More

Building A Great Church: Unity, Generosity, And Integrity
by Blair Cushman on April 28th, 2026
People frequently search for the perfect church. They often look for great music, comfortable facilities, and engaging programs for their families. Yet, the book of Acts shows us a completely different picture of what makes a church truly great. As the early church expanded, God proved that a great church is built on unity, generosity, and integrity. Jesus is actively building His church on an unstoppable mission, and He desires His people to be unified and purified.  Read More
