If you grew up in a neighborhood without fences, you likely remember how kids played together across conjoined yards. It was an open adventure. Today, we often build tall wooden barriers around our homes to keep others out. This drift toward privacy and personal protection easily bleeds into our spiritual lives. We build social and religious barriers to keep people at a safe distance. Throughout the book of Acts, one thing becomes incredibly clear. God is entirely bent on getting the good news of Jesus out to the world. He will take it to unlikely places, and He will mobilize the most uncommon people. Most importantly, He does this through the consistent prayers of ordinary people.
